Our environmental policies look at the environmental impact of our products throughout their life cycle - from how they are built to how they are recycled. We also want to support our team members and ensure their workplace is inclusive and safe. Also, the materials used in our products and the suppliers that support our operations will be held to high ethical and environmental standards.

Mavoni has made energy efficiency a priority, for ourselves and our products. Through numerous green IT initiatives, we've significantly reduced the amount of energy we use and the amount of energy our products consume.

Mitigating Climate Change Through Forest Stewardship

Mavoni strives to put back into forests what we take out. We want to balance our use of tree fiber with a sustainable strategy that will ensure our forests continue to thrive.

Reducing and Reporting Greenhouse Gas Emissions

If it can be measured, it can be improved. Tracking greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and setting a high bar for improvement shows that Mavoni takes the responsibility to help address climate change very seriously. Mavoni has made it a priority to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 25 percent by 2014.

Striving Toward Zero Waste — Reducing, Reusing and Recycling

Reducing waste is key to Mavoni's responsible operations strategy. Waste avoidance is at the heart of Mavoni's approach to sustainable operations. Mavoni sees waste avoidance as a key element of operational efficiency. We aim to increase waste recycling and reuse to 99 percent by 2014.
